Review--Fractured Light by Rachel McClellan
Fractured Light by Rachel McClellan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Fractured Light has been on my too-read for a while now. I'd heard a bit of hype about the book, so I decided to check it out. I'm so glad I did. Rachael McClellan has created a unique mythology that includes her version of vampires. These Vampires are not the sparkly kind. They are the darkest creatures out there, literally. They are made of darkness, and the villain in this story lived up to that disclaimer.
So many questions were raised in this first book. Some were answered, some not so much. I'm looking forward to reading Fractured soul. Llona is a strong character with teenaged insecurities and emotions. Some of her motivations didn't make much sense toward the end of the story, but they did at the same time because of her age and maturity level.
It's a great start to the series, and I can't wait to see what happens next. Ms. McClellan can count me as her latest fan. Loved the story and her writing was seamless.
