Giveaway--Meet Your New Favorite Author--Amy Bartol

Hello My Lovelies...

Sorry I've been quiet lately.  I've been busy with family, writing, and life :)

So I thought now would be a great time for me to introduce you to one of my favorite authors.  Amy Bartol has raced up the list with her Premonition Series.  I've blown through all four books that have been released and am chomping at the bit for the fifth, which I hope will release soon!

First, let me introduce the series.  I love angel books, and this has to be my favorite series about angels I've read so far.  I loved Hush Hush and Fallen was pretty good, but they have nothing on Premonition.  This series stars Evie (Genevieve), who is a fiery redhead that makes a great heroine.  I've mostly loved Evie throughout the series and have only gotten mad at her a few times.  She is faced with some crazy challenges and revelations about her origins that would throw a saint off balance.  She does a pretty good job of sorting it all out.  One of the things that both makes me love her and be annoyed by her is her deep sense of loyalty and protective nature.  She's gotten into trouble because of it, but she's also stayed true to herself throughout the series.

I'm going to give you the opportunity now to go over to Pinterest and take a gander at Amy's lovely boards for her books.  They really are inspiring and if they don't make you want to read this series, I don't know what would, lol.

Inescapable: The Premonition Series Book One

I'm not listing the others because if you haven't read this series they could contain spoilers.  The beauty of this series is how it unfolds, so I don't want to ruin it for you :)

Next, how about a trailer?

This is fan created, I think, but it's pretty good...

Here's my goodreads review.

Inescapable (The Premonition, #1)Inescapable by Amy A. Bartol
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book came to me on high recommendation from my dear friend, Nancy Straight. Man am I glad I took her recommendation! All I have to say is WOWZA!

Inescapable is AMAZING. From the first pages I was hooked. I loved Evie and had to know what was going to happen to her! Holy cow, there are a lot of twists in this book and the biggest one was a complete surprise. I'm not often surprised by books, but this one had me gaping. I just didn't see the big bad coming like I should have.

I'm not giving away spoilers, so I will leave it at that, but I was totally drawn in by the characters and the story. This book elicited so many emotions from me, from laugh out loud humor to tragedy that broke my heart to heart pounding love and adrenaline filled action.

I immediately bought book two and have immersed myself in the world again. I was so glad to see the series has four books I can devour! Bring on the next!

About Amy

Author of Inescapable: The Premonition Series (Volume 1), Intuition: The Premonition Series (Volume 2), Indebted: The Premonition Series (Volume 3) , and Incendiary: The Premonition Series (Volume 4). Currently working on a fifth novel in the Premonition Series entitled Iniquity.

I live in Michigan with my husband and our two sons. My family is very supportive of my writing. When I’m writing, they often bring me the take-out menu so that I can call and order them dinner. They listen patiently when I talk about my characters like they’re real. They rarely roll their eyes when I tell them I’ll only be a second while I finish writing a chapter…and then they take off their coats. They ask me how the story is going when I surface after living for hours in a world of my own making. They have learned to accept my “writing uniform” consisting of a slightly unflattering pink fleece jacket, t-shirt, and black yoga pants. And they smile at my nerdy bookishness whenever I try to explain urban fantasy to them. In short, they get me, so they are perfect and I am blessed.
