Book Review--Runes by Ednah Walters!

Runes by Ednah Walters
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Runes captured my interest from the first. I loved the characters and the story line, which was ripe with mystery and the all elusive bad boy.

The Norse mythology was a pleasant change for me, as I haven't read much with that particular mythology. I had the pleasure of visiting Norway recently and have been enchanted both with the people and the savage land that is both beautiful and rugged. So when I saw this book and its beautiful cover, compelling blurb, I had to give it a try.

I started with a sample and fell in love with Ednah Walters' writing. The vivid descriptions and likable characters drew me in and pretty soon the book was over! Good thing book two was available for me to purchase right away.

I've loved getting to know Raine, Cora, Eirik, and Torin. The cast of characters is great and has a little bit to offer for everyone.

I really believe if you enjoyed my Elemental Enmity series, you will enjoy this one as well. I know I did and I'm looking forward to reading more from Ednah Walters!

  1. I can't say I know much about Norse mythology either, though it's mentioned a bit in The Forbidden Game trilogy by L.J. Smith when the characters use runes to access other worlds. Cover is beautiful for Runes.

    1. Hi Emma!

Yep, runes, Valhalla, Odin, Thor (Although he's not mentioned in this book), it's all very interesting. Thanks for commenting. I actually love this cover.
