First Port of Call--Liverpool!

Hello, my lovelies!

Continuing with my wonderful trip, I'd like to share a few photos of the amazing city of Liverpool, England. When we woke that morning and went out onto the deck, this is what we saw!

The further we traveled into port, the more stunning the view of the amazing buildings.

By the time we boarded the bus, I was in awe. These buildings are so enormous and beautifully crafted. It was like stepping into another time. I could imagine the dirt streets filled with carriages, ladies in fine clothing and gentlemen strolling the boulevard.

Our tour was designed to show us places significant to the Beatles. It was one of my favorite tours on the trip, partly because this was my first look into an ancient land and because our tour host was so vibrant and fun, he made the trip great!

We got to see Penny Lane and Strawberry Field, which inspired the songs. After that amazing tour, my husband and I took a cab over to the Liverpool Football Stadium. It was great to be able to have an inside view of the stadium and innerworkings of the club.

So there you have the highlights of my first port of call. It was a great place to visit. The people were so friendly and down to earth, I loved every minute of my time in Liverpool.

  1. Looks great, Christie. I've never been, no excuse really when it's only an hour's plane from me.
What place/pics do you have next for us? :)
